Members
The Members tab, accessible from the site menu, lists the people who are authorized to access the portal. Navu uses role-based security so each member is assigned a role that determines what they are and are not allowed to do.
There are 3 roles:
- An owner has unlimited permissions to view and update configuration of all types and to control the membership on the site;
- An editor has permission to view and update most configuration information, but is not able to take certain actions (such as deleting the site or changing membership); and
- A viewer has read-only permission to the site.
To invite new members to the site, click on Invite a Member and enter their email address. Once that person has authenticated, they will have access to the site.
Navu is designed to allow a single user to access multiple sites. For example, a person in an agency might support multiple customers each of whom has their own Navu site. That person is able to move between the portals for these different sites using the droplist in the top-right corner of the window where they will find listed each of the sites that they are eligible to access.
