Segmentation
A "segment" is simply a subset of your website visitors. Most questions you have about visitors to your site will have more useful answers if they refer to a specific group. For example, you might want to know about the conversion rates for each of your advertisements. Or you might want to know how much time visitors from Canada are spending reading your content.
You decide how you want to "slice and dice" your visitors. In the Segments tab, create a segment for each group you want to separate and configure a filter to tell Navu how to know whether any given visitor belongs in that group. Filters can be simple, such as "all visitors using a phone", or complex, such as "visitors from Canada and the US who arrived on an email campaign". Using content clusters, you can even filter based on visitor interests based on the content they have visited during their journey.
The segments you have created are listed. For each one, we track a set of metrics, starting when that segment is first defined, that you can review in the segment details.
