Acquisitions
Every visitor to your website arrived from somewhere — even if they just typed the URL of your home page into their browser address bar.
The different ways that a visitor might arrive are called channels (such as advertising, home-direct, organic-search, email, etc.)
Navu divides visitors even further by considering many factors (channel being one of them) into what we call acquisition campaigns, or just "campaigns", for short. These factors include referrer, UTM codes, and landing page (after stripping off URL parameters).
The Acquisitions tab is populated automatically with all of the different campaigns we discover while tracking all of your visitors. There is nothing to configure on this tab. Instead, this is where you can study the different ways that visitors are using to get to your website. These are listed on the left side. When you select a campaign, we show you metrics about that particular group.
The filter, sort, and search above the visitor list will help you zero in on the campaigns that you are looking for. Remember that if you want to see examples of specific visitor journeys, click on the visitor link on the Visitors metric.
